In the captivating world of Fish It, the choice of fishing rod can significantly impact your gameplay and overall success. As you progress, understanding the differences between the various rods is essential. This article breaks down the Fish It Rod Progression into three distinct stages: early, mid, and late gameplay, helping you to select the most suitable rods based on your level.
Fish It Rod Progression
Let’s dive into the nuances of fishing rods at each stage of your journey, ensuring that you’re equipped for success.
Early Stages
As a newcomer to Fish It, your initial tool will be the Starter Rod. Unfortunately, this rod is considered the weakest of the lot and won’t serve you well for long. Start by catching a few fish to generate some initial funds. Once you’ve earned enough, consider upgrading to either the Luck Rod or the Carbon Rod. The Carbon Rod outshines the Luck Rod in terms of holding capacity and speed; however, the Luck Rod boasts a 50% Luck stat, while the Carbon Rod only offers 30%.
If you’re looking to be frugal, the Lava Rod is a fantastic alternative—especially since it’s free! It provides a decent 30% Luck, 2% Speed, and can support up to 100 kg of weight, which surpasses both the Luck and Carbon Rods. To claim this option, simply chat with the Lava Fisherman NPC located in the Volcano.
Mid Stages
Having secured a competent early rod, you’ll begin to catch more valuable fish. However, as your ambitions grow, you will need to upgrade your rod further to snag those elusive rarer breeds. At this point, I’d highly recommend the Midnight Rod, which costs 50k. This rod offers an impressive 100% Luck, 10% Speed, and can hold a whopping 10,000 kg—perfect for serious fishermen!
Alternatively, if you can delay gratification, the Steampunk Rod is certainly worth your consideration. Priced at 215k, it features a remarkable 225% Luck and 19% Speed, though it has a relatively limited 25 kg capacity. Weigh your options carefully to see which rod aligns better with your fishing strategy.
Late Stages
As you transition into the late stages of gameplay, you’re faced with a choice between two top-tier rods. The first is the Chrome Rod, which comes with a price tag of 437k. It boasts a staggering 280% Luck and a 23% Speed factor, with a weight capacity of 190,000 kg, making it a top choice for avid fishers.
If you’re able to hold off on purchasing, the Fluorescent Rod could be your golden ticket. Offering 300% Luck, 23% Speed, and a capacity of 160,000 kg, it’s a solid investment. However, if you are willing to save even longer, the Astal Rod is the crowning jewel of rods available for purchase. It features an incredible 400% Luck, a swift 43% Speed, and holds an impressive 350,000 kg. The catch? This stellar rod demands a hefty 1 million, so prepare for a bit of grinding.
